PENTECOST VILLAGE PROJECT
FUNDRAISING DRIVE IN AID OF THE CHURCH OF PENTECOST'S $6 MILLION BUILDING PROJECT (PENTECOST VILLAGE)
The Church of Pentecost Canada is an internationally renowned Christian organization with branches throughout the world. For the past 15 years, the Church of Pentecost has experienced a phenomenal growth in Canada. The church currently has branches in all major cities in Canada, and within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) alone, we have six assemblies with a total congregation of almost 3000.
The six assemblies in the GTA continue to outgrow their current places of worship each passing year. It is anticipated that the current growth pattern will continue through the subsequent years ahead. Therefore, the need for a bigger sanctuary with modern recreational and educational facilities to compensate for the current surge in growth has become more crucial than ever before.
In view of this, the leadership of the Church has purchased a 23-acre parcel of land in the Municipality of Vaughan (HWY 400/Major Mackenzie) to build a bigger facility to bring some of the satellite churches in the GTA under one roof. The design concept includes a youth and community facility, fitness center, day care, elementary school, swimming pool, counseling center, library and a diploma awarding institution. The church will open its door to the community and will also be heavily involved in community outreach programs, working hand-in hand with city officials and politicians to help build a vibrant and livable community.
The Church of Pentecost is therefore humbly requesting you and other members of the community to donate towards this church building project. May the Almighty God richly bless you, and replenish bountifully any money you willingly give to support this worthy cause. No donation is too small in the eyes of the Almighty God.
All donations are tax-deductible.
You may direct any further enquiries about this fundraising drive to Rev. (Dr.) Alex Gyamera or Elder Joseph Tieku, National Fundraising Chairperson.
